CFCR Fundraising Dinner

CFCR Saskatoon’ s community radio station is extremely near and dear to my heart! Each year CFCR hosts a fundraising drive called FM Phasis. FM Phasis accounts for a significant percentage of the annual operating budget.  

During FM Phasis each host is encouraged to raise a certain amount of money. In the past I would either ask coworkers, friends, and family for donations. But last year Brian came up with the idea of hosting a fundraising dinner! 

Last year we called our dinner “Listen to your Gut”. It was a five-course meal where each course was a spin on a nostalgic food from Brian’s childhood. The dinner was hosted at the wonderful Odla restaurant!

To Scott Dicks for donating his time to help prepare the meal. To Jess Skolrood for helping prepare the meal and for her creative contributions to the meal. To Benn Smith for donating his time, helping behind the bar, and creating amazing feature cocktails for the event. And to Teddy Underhill for being our wonderful server. And of course to our family and friends who bought tickets and joined us for an evening of great food and music. 

This year we are doing it again!
