Thoughts on Boredom

They say boredom breeds creativity.

I really experienced that in 2020. I was coming up with ideas and photographing all the time. I was collaborating with friends and creating art I was proud of! I was capturing my everyday life, my home, and the people closest to me. And I loved it.

When the world opened up again my love of adventure started to compete with my love of art, and honestly, for the last year I think it has won. And hey, no regrets.

I have gone on AMAZING trips, done awesome things, ate amazing food. I feel lucky every day that this is my life! And I still take photos, they’re just of my travels and thats cool. But I am missing the intention, the perfect candid moments, even the planning of photoshoots past.

So here I am, manifesting more boredom. More opportunities for creativity, collaboration, and perfect candid moments.
