I had a baby

Been a while! I went off and had a baby!

Having never have had a baby before when I was pregnant I was sure that during my “year off” I would be focused on my art. Turns out, having a baby is all encompassing for a while.

My year was spent having slow days with my daughter. Staring at her face, trying to ensure she never felt uncomfortable, learning her and motherhood, and trying not to miss a second. It was the best.
